Then when we reach Anatoly, he asks us to go pick onions with him. While talking to Maria, she mentions several times that there is bread down in the basement, specifically, "loaves of it." This is a bread pun, just like the ones bread tells in pretty much every sentence. they have even more obvious hints during the ending when we descend the stairs. I don't think there's many personality similarities between Onion/Anatoly and Bread/Mariah outside of basic things that can apply to any.

Karin and Raspberry are both a bit strange compared to the rest (not including Potato), they say dark things at times like Raspberry saying, "Always merry: Raspberry is lie created by cabbage." And in the Chompette's Cabin Course, insists on berating the PC and reminding them of their evil acts. Similar to Gregor who is also the leader of the group (it seems that way at least, he directs the group mostly in the beginning) and always tries to share positive messages.
There are also some character similarities between them:Ĭabbage is the leader of the group and always tries to be cheerful. I screenshoted them and colorpicked their actual color, and no they don't match up exactly but they are still VERY similar. The first clue that most catch onto is that the color of these characters name's are the same. I believe their primary canon purpose is that of souls of past victims, but for added fun, the developers also connected them to the four characters.Įach of the Chompettes represents a character in the game. These seem like they would be conflicting ideas, but to be honest, there's very solid evidence for both of them. The second is that they are past victims. The first is that they represent each of the four hikers, Karin, Mariah, Anatoly, and Gregor. I've seen a few other people around the internet theorizing about them, and it seems that most people have two different thoughts. Who are they? What do they represent, if anything?
